Our Work

Post Fall Cleanup

This massive yard was cleaned up and winterized for the season. Your lawn needs a different amount of nutrients in the fall in preparation for the cold weather ahead. Winterizing helps your lawn survive the colder weather and be better prepared for regrowth once the warmer weather comes back.

Aerating and Overseeding

This expansive, beautiful lawn was aerated and over seeded for maximum growth and ease of care. Aeration makes it easier for water, oxygen and nutrients to get to the roots of the lawn, which also reduces thatch (dead grass, roots and debris). Overseeding helps to grow and thicken the thinner or sparser areas of the lawn. This results in a healthy, even lawn.

Dethatching

This is an example of dethatching. “Thatch” is a layer of dead grass, roots, and debris between the healthy grass and the soil that creates a layer of residue that can keep water, air, and nutrients from getting into the root zone. Over time, thatch can form a thick mat and create an environment that can encourage pests and diseases. Dethatching is best done in the spring.

Lawn Renovation

It’s hard to believe, but this lawn began as nothing more than dirt and a few weeds! After a few seasons of scheduled treatments, a watering schedule with the homeowner, and regular maintenance, this yard is now a welcoming part of this home’s curb appeal!
